Join Master Teacher Jessica Lynn Johnson for the 4th installment of the Soaring Solo SPOTLIGHT Webinar Series examining two key components of an outstanding solo show: CHARACTERS and COMEDY.

Learn how can YOU sharpen your comedy & character skills in order to bring your solo story off the page and onto the stage.

This week’s webinar will be co-facilitated by the ultra talented Diana Varco.

Diana is a UCB/Groundlings trained expert improvisor, story-teller and actress using humor to heal. Diana also co-created and produced Ladies’ Night (Lady Jam) – a variety show dedicated to the celebration of female identifying artists, which ran for over 5 years (2011-2017).

In her critically acclaimed solo show SHATTERED, Diana applies comedy and character-work to explore the complex psychological impact of sexual assault and the path toward recovery.

SHATTERED has graced many stages since its premiere in 2017, including Whitefire Theatre SoloFest, Hollywood Fringe Festival, Outdoor Voices Festival, United Solo (off-Broadway), LA Women’s Theatre Festival, BFF Binge Fringe of Free Theatre at Santa Monica Playhouse and a recent 25 show run at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Therefore, who better to exemplify how to powerfully use CHARACTERS & COMEDY in your solo show than this hilarious chameleon woman?!
