Hello Friends! I, Dan Prevette, will be conducting a staged reading of my debut solo show, “Missionary Positions: A Recovering Christian’s Guide to Getting Lost!” Through storytelling, characters, and comedy, I’m exploring my childhood and young adult years as an Evangelical missionary kid to mine my experiences for a solo performance about faith, doubt, grief, and love. ‘Missionary Positions,’ is directed by and developed with award-winning solo show performer and producer, Jessica Lynn Johnson.
The reading will be of a preliminary draft and YOU are invited to be an integral part of this creative process as I work to make my show festival ready! The performance will be lightly blocked and staged, with the use of a currently in-development script, and will likely run around 75 minutes in length. Jessica and myself will conduct a Q&A after the reading in order to garner helpful notes on areas that can be improved, clarified, or cut. The solo creative process can be long and solitary, so your presence and opinions are eagerly welcomed!

The charge for the reading will go directly towards the cost of the space and production. Donations are welcomed on the evening but are not expected.
